I am driven to design, create, construct,and change everything around me. My degree is in Interior Design and I am inspired by fabric, patterns, architectural elements, wonderful found objects and color. My art tends to be about line, rhythm, texture and in metal Ifind a material of strength. Getting into welded art has been my most fun artistic endeavor and fulfilling artistic expression. I love the depth of the whole process from design to bending, cutting, welding, finishing, and bringing together different components. My time spent in the studio, working with great teachers and friends, has had an enormous impact on me and the way I see things around me. More importantly - learning to weld as a vehicle to satisfy my need to be creative, has taught me to look at my work with new eyes.
